August 12, 1893: An F2 tornado moved through portions of Logan County, KS. Two children were killed near Winona. A collapsed wall of a sod house landed on them. All livestock and chickens on a farm at the end of the path were killed.

On this day in 2005, an F2 tornado hit Wright, Wy. It moved through a trailer park, and 120 trailers were affected, 91 were completely destroyed. Two people were killed, and 13 were injured. Source.
