Tornado Talk Summary

A total of 40 tornadoes are a part of the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) Database, December 14-15, 1971. Most that occurred on the 15th were during the early AM hours. We look at one of those in this summary. It was given a rating of F2 and had an intermittent path of 22+ miles through from Bell City to Scott City in Missouri. Read the full summary here

December 15, 1893: Grazulis reported that a possible F3 tornado moved through parts of Union County, AR. Several small homes were leveled about 20 miles south of Camden. Four were killed

Twister From The 2000s

On December 15, 2007, an EF2 tornado struck rural areas of Treutlen County, GA, just southwest of Soperton. It caused extensive tree damage along a 3.5-mile path. A fire station and a trailer were destroyed as well.  Source
