A small tornado given a rating of F2 hit a mobile home park in the Houston suburb of Deer Park during the afternoon time of July 29, 1971.  Per Storm Data and newspaper articles, six mobile homes were blown from their foundations and two trailers were demolished.  There were 8 minor injuries.  The path was reported to be only 0.3 miles.  Thomas Grazulis does not include this event in Significant Tornadoes.
