A brief tornado formed on the southwest flank of a supercell thunderstorm in northeastern Clay County, northwest of Sutton. The tornado moved to the south southwest for about 1 mile before lifting. The location of this tornado was adjusted slightly west from original LSR reports after a ground survey was performed by Clay County Emergency Management and Law Enforcement. Pivot and crop damage were reported. The strength, position and time of this tornado was based on information received from Clay County Emergency Management, trained spotters and radar data. A second breif tornado over Clay County was confirmed through video and was located about 1.5 miles southeast of Saronville. This tornado lasted less than 1 minutes and there was no reported damage.
