Sylvarena, MS F4 Tornado (1992)

There were 6-F4 tornadoes during the massive November 21-23, 1992 tornado outbreak. This summary looks at one of those out of Mississippi. This was an early morning tornado that traveled 40 miles through parts of Smith, Jasper and Newton Counties. It began SE of Mize and moved NE through the Sylvarena community. 90 homes were destroyed.
