On this day in 1993, a large, wedge tornado passed across the open country near Last Chance, CO. Per Thomas Grazulis in Significant Tornadoes: “The tornado may have damaged storage sheds and grain combines but is officially rated at F0. Several amazing photos of the tornado were taken by William Reid, and can be viewed at his blog, stormbruiser.com.
