July 29, 1896: An F2 crossed through Athens County, OH and the town of Glouster. Homes and a store were demolished and the owner of the store died as he became buried under the debris. Newspapers reported that a woman was “so badly frightened” that she died as well.

On this day in 2021, an EF3 tornado tracked for 3.5 miles through parts of Philadelphia and Trevose, PA. EF3 damage occurred to a car dealership that was destroyed and nearby trees that were stripped. Homes in the path sustained mostly minor damage. A sign from the PA Turnpike was thrown 1/2 mile. This was the first F3/EF3 tornado in PA since July 2004. Source.

On this day in 2021, an EF1 tornado tracked for nearly 5 miles through parts of Fayette and Westmoreland Counties in PA, near Donegal. Numerous trees were knocked down, and a garage was leveled. Source
