Colfax, WI F5 Tornado – June 4, 1958! 33.7 mile path. 21 killed, 74 injured. Dozens of homes were leveled. Before lifting ENE of Colfax, farm houses were demolished. 2 were killed when a car was thrown from Highway 40 near the end of the path. Read the full summary here

June 4, 1914: An F2 tornado moved ENE from near Confluence, PA to near Ursina and then through the Casselman River Valley. An elderly woman was killed in her home at Ursina. 9 people were injured.

On this day in 1975, an F2 tornado tracked for 45 miles through parts of Beaver, Allegheny, and Westmoreland Counties, in Pennsylvania, through the Pittsburgh Metro area. Pennsylvania Governor Hilton Shapp, from a car on the highway near Ambridge, saw the tornado. Source

An EF1 tornado makes a direct hit on the town of Ceresco, Nebraska during the evening of June 4, 2008. In town, 4 homes suffered major damage and another 71 suffered some form of damage. Several businesses were also damaged and many trees and power lines were taken down throughout town. 30 homes were also damaged outside of town.
