Summary

A dozen tornadoes occurred across parts of Florida and Georgia on March 7, 2008.  This summary looks at an EF2 that moved through parts of Columbia County, FL, and the town of Lake City.  The track was short, only 1.49 miles.  Trucks and trailers were blown over in an industrial park. 19 homes were destroyed, 21 had major damage, and 20 others had minor damage.  Two businesses were destroyed.  A woman was killed when a tree went through her mobile home.
