The SPC Database shows two tornadoes on August 4, 1958. There was an estimated F1 in Madison County, NE and the F1 that is the topic of this summary.
This tornado had a short path of 2 miles in Redwood County, MN near the Lucan area. Two people were injured when a portable grain elevator tipped over. Sadly, there was one fatality. Herman Schultz was visiting his daughter at her farm house near Lucan. He was in a small outbuilding that overturned on top of him.
