May 23, 1946: Grazulis documents two F4s tornadoes in Washington County, KS. The first moved SW of Enosdale and stayed west of Washington. A woman was killed in one of two farm homes that was swept away. The second F4 leveled a farmhouse east of Washington. Two were injured, no fatalities.

On this day in 2019, an EF3 tornado tracked for nearly 16 miles from near Follett, TX to near Laverne, OK. An unanchored house was swept away and a pick-up truck was thrown 0.30 miles and mangled.  Source.

On this day in 2019, an EF0 tornado struck Westmont, PA. A 1.6 mile long by 300-yard wide swath of trees was blown down. Some of the fallen trees fell on homes and cars.   Source
