This destructive tornado had a path length of 14 miles and hit the small town of Spencer (population at the time of 320) destroying most of its 190 buildings. 6 people were killed and 150 were injured. May 30, 1931: An F2 tornado tracked from 10 miles NE of downtown Columbus, OH near Central College and the Westerville area. Three barns were demolished, along with a filling station, garage, cars, a truck and a bus. No injuries or fatalities reported.
