Tornado Talk Summary

On this day in 1959: A deadly F4 tornado developed just north of Harden City in Pontotoc County, OK and moved northeastward to one mile west of Stonewall before dissipating 3 miles north of the town. The tornado hit a small, cement block cafe near Stonewall, completely destroying it and injuring several people. Nine people survived by taking refuge behind the counter in the cafe. May 9, 1930: An F2 tornado killed two people and injured four in Pittsburg County, OK. The path was only one mile. One home was destroyed 2 miles NW of Arpelar. A farmer here died of head injuries and a woman visiting succumbed to her injuries.

On this day in 2015, an EF3 tornado struck near Cisco, TX. It threw two cars and a tractor one mile, leveled a house, and caused ground scouring and tree debarking. One person was killed, and two were injured. Source.
