Tornado Talk Summary

A total of 35 tornadoes were confirmed to hit on October 13, 2014. Most were rated EF0 or EF1. There were three rated EF2 and we look at one of those in this summary. It moved 2.51 miles through parts of Little River County, AR. There were four injuries and one fatality. Read the full summary here

A double-wide manufactured home was completely destroyed with debris from the home being blown away. This damage was rated EF2. A vehicle was also overturned at this residence. October 13, 1902: An estimated F2 tornado moved east from the western edge of Madison County, OH to two miles north of London. An “old house” was leveled, a farm house was unroofed and there were uprooted trees. 

Twister From The 2000s

On October 13, 2014, an EF2 tornado touched WSW of Monroe, LA, and tracked ENE for a little over 9 miles through town. Many homes, apartments, and businesses sustained varying degrees of damage. The West Monroe High School lost most of its roof. Source
