A total of four tornadoes were confirmed on October 16, 1998: Two in Nebraska and two in Kansas. We look at one of the Kansas twisters in this summary. Per the National Weather Service, a total of 10 homes were damaged or destroyed. There was on injury. Read the full summary here

October 16, 1925: A family of tornadoes and downbursts moved ENE from 6 miles West of Bowling Green, KY to beyond Munfordville. Ten people were injured in two homes that were blown into the Barren River. Barns and a hotel were torn apart near Mammoth Cave National Park. There was one fatality. Rating given F3. 

Twister From The 2000s

On October 16, 2019, an EF1 tornado moved through Rural Calcasieu Parish, just northeast of Lake Charles, LA. An RV was flipped onto a home, and several farm buildings were damaged or destroyed along the 2.74-mile path. Source.
