Shawnee-Prague-Paden, OK F4 Tornado – October 5, 1970: This twister had a skipping 25 mile path and began over Shawnee in Pottawatomie County. 157 businesses, 564 residential homes, 12 public buildings, 10 churches and 5 schools were damaged at Shawnee. October 5, 1948: Grazulis documents three hurricane-spawned tornadoes in Florida on this day. All were given an F2 rating. Two were in Broward County and one in Dade County. A total of 27 people were injured.  

Twister From The 2000s

On October 5, 2003, an F1 tornado tracked for four miles through Bryan, TX. One person was injured, 25 homes sustained significant damage, and over 200 others had minor damage.  Source
