Tornado Talk Summary

On September 10, 1961, five tornadoes associated with Hurricane Carla were produced in Louisiana. Our Tornado Talk summary looks at an estimated F3 that struck the Kaplan area. Approximately 21 homes were destroyed, 55 were heavily damaged. There were 55 injured and an infant was killed. Read the full summary here

September 10, 1920: Grazulis documents an estimated F2 that moved about 4 miles through parts of Obion, TN. Two homes, several barns, a school and a church were destroyed. A man died in his home.  

Twister From The 2000s

On September 10, 2019, a large wedge tornado tracked east-southeast through central Goshen County, WY, for nearly 20 miles. Satellite tornadoes accompanied the main twister. Farm buildings were destroyed, and livestock was killed across the path. Source.
